Through this amazing bunch of women in the TradieWives group, I have recently learnt 3 things that have really helped us out in the business.
- If you are currently running a small business you may be eligible for the fully subsidised online TAFE Certificate IV in New Small Business. I signed up almost 2 months ago, it runs for a year, you can do it all online and it didn’t cost anything. It is a bit time consuming but I love that you can apply it to your own business – 2 assignments in and I have already learnt so much. - You may be eligible for a rebate from SafeWork of up to $500 to small business owners if you participate in an online safety webinar, do the quiz and get the certificate. Its takes about half an hour to complete and it is for safety items that will address a safety problem in the workplace. On the website it gives you a list of things you may be eligible to get the rebate on, including ladders and safety harnesses.
