Tradies Mentoring Tradies
Good at your trade, but exhausted by the business side? We help you get back in control.
Tradies Mentoring Tradies (TMT) works with trade business owners and their partners to build businesses that make money, run with less chaos and don’t rely on one person holding everything together.
Founded by former trade business owner Aaron Kemp, TMT offers practical coaching, mentoring and hands-on implementation support. We work with both the tradie on the tools and the wife or partner managing the calls, paperwork, finances and family life behind the scenes. You both need to understand the numbers, agree on the priorities and know who is responsible for what.
We help with the parts of business that usually cause the most pressure:
Money: Pricing, quoting, gross profit, cash flow, job costing and understanding where the profit goes.
Time: Planning the week, setting priorities, improving workflows and getting the owner out of constant firefighting.
Team: Hiring, onboarding, training, clear roles, leadership and holding people accountable.
Sales: Qualifying leads, following up quotes and building a repeatable process for winning the right work.
Systems: Putting useful processes, reporting and software in place so jobs don’t depend on memory and crossed fingers.
If you’re unsure where to start, our Business Diagnostic identifies what’s working, what’s costing you money and what needs attention first. From there, we build a practical action plan and help you put it into place through coaching, working sessions and accountability.
Our aim is straightforward: help you build a profitable trade business that supports your life and family, instead of consuming both.
No fluff. No BS. Just practical help from people who understand trade businesses.
