Hi, I’m Aimee from APC Home Loans.
We’re based in Canberra and spend a lot of time down the South Coast, but we work with clients all over Australia. No matter where you are, our goal is the same: to make the homeownership journey feel simple, supportive and genuinely approachable.
One thing we pride ourselves on is keeping things friendly and transparent. The mortgage world can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re juggling family life, work commitments, or running a business. What we offer is a space where you can ask questions without feeling judged, get straight answers without the jargon, and feel confident that someone actually has your back.
A big part of our focus is helping people get into the market, whether you’re a first-home buyer just starting out, or someone who’s been putting it off because the process feels too hard or too confusing. Buying a home is a huge milestone, and no one should feel like they’re navigating it alone.
We also have a strong passion for supporting self-employed clients. My partner is a chippie and has been running his own small business for the past four years, so I’ve seen firsthand how tough it can be to get lenders to understand the real story behind the numbers. Cash flow goes up and down, tax returns don’t always reflect the hard work being put in, and “traditional” lending criteria doesn’t always fit the reality of running a trades or small business operation. That’s where a broker who actually understands your world can make a difference.
